The Women’s Council of the Rochester Business Alliance Inc. has selected 22 finalists for the 2010 Athena Award.
The recipient will be announced at a luncheon to mark the 24th annual award on Jan. 21 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Maggie Wilderotter, chairman and CEO of Frontier Communications Corp., is slated to be the keynote speaker at the event.
The Athena Award recognizes women of achievement for their professional excellence, community service and for actively helping women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. Holly Hillberg, Carestream Health Inc.’s chief technology officer, received the 2009 award.
The 2010 finalists come from varied backgrounds, including education, business, law and health care. They are:
