Harris Corp.’s RF Communications division has received a $65 million order from an international customer to deliver a range of capabilities from its high-frequency and multiband radios.
The order represents the next phase of a multiyear tactical communications modernization program, the Henrietta firm said.
The radios will provide this nation’s armed forces with beyond line-of-sight terrestrial communications through enhanced secure voice and data performance. The identity of the nation was not disclosed.
The order comes on the heels of a $10.7 million order from the Federative Republic of Brazil for combat net radios and secure personal radios to support a range of mission requirements.
RF Communications has roughly 2,300 local workers.
