Roberts Communications Inc. has won a national ADDY Award for its work on last year’s Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.
The integrated marketing and communications company earned the National Silver ADDY for brochure illustration. Roberts Communications received the award during the American Advertising Federation National Conference in Austin, Texas, on June 5.
“It’s always gratifying to have the quality of our creative work recognized by industry peers, especially at the national level,” CEO William Murtha said. “Achieving results for our client is the most important measure, however, and we’re pleased that our jazz festival work for Xerox was a big success on both levels.”
The ADDYs are put on annually by the American Advertising Federation. The awards are the industry’s largest with more than 50,000 entries in local competitions held around the country.
Roberts Communications won Gold ADDYs for the jazz fest brochure at the Rochester Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards in March. The award was one of six local ADDYs the firm received.
Roberts Communications employs 65 people and generated approximately $65 million in capitalized billings last year. The company placed fifth on Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of marketing communications firms.
