The first of four Consolidated Funding Application workshops by the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council is slated for Tuesday in Rochester, officials said this week.
The June 18 workshop is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Memorial Art Gallery on University Avenue. It includes an overview of the application and CFA process, followed by breakout sessions on specific funding available for economic development projects, officials said.
Additional workshops will follow on June 20 at Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ Scandling Campus Center in Geneva, June 24 at SUNY College at Geneseo’s MacVittie College Union and June 27 at Genesee Community College’s Conable Technology Building in Batavia.
The workshops are designed to explain CFA programs and eligibility standards, as well as improvements to the application process, council co-chairmen Joel Seligman and Danny Wegman said.
CFA applications can be submitted beginning Monday and will be accepted through Aug. 12, officials said. The council includes Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates counties.
