E3 Technologies in Rochester has merged with I-Evolve Technology Services in suburban Buffalo and eventually will do business under the I-Evolve name, officials announced.
The newly formed company is E3 Technologies-Powered by I-Evolve, officials said last week.
“Increasing our scope of technical offerings and providing access to additional technical capacity and capability is a benefit to our customers and our staff,” E3 Technologies managing partner Gary Baron said in a statement.
“There is a strong match in our core values, our vision of technology service and our resource base.”
Baron will become a regional manager for I-Evolve, which has its headquarters in Amherst, Erie County, officials said.
E3 Technologies, located on Cascade Drive, was founded in 1997. It provides information technology staff augmentation, managed services, hosting services, programs, Web designs and project consulting in the Rochester market.
I-Evolve is a business technology services and solutions provider.
“The transaction with E3 Technologies allows I-Evolve to leverage the technology investment in our multiple carrier grade data centers located in Amherst and Buffalo,” I-Evolve president Kevin Kelly said.
“We will complement and provide additional value to the newly acquired E3 Technologies customers by offering services such as cloud computing and hosted (voice over Internet protocol). We are looking forward to providing additional value to the existing client base and the Rochester market as a whole.”
