The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Inc. has appointed a vice president of marketing and communications.
The orchestra announced Thursday that Katie Sejba will begin Oct. 7, overseeing strategy for the orchestra’s annual subscription and single-ticket campaigns as well as broader strategies in media relations and branding.
“We are excited to welcome Katie as the newest member of our senior leadership team,” said Charles Owens, RPO president and CEO. “Our search included many strong candidates from across the country, but we concluded that Katie’s experience and impressive sales growth results, her dynamism, and her reputation for team-building made her the perfect choice for the RPO.”
Sejba had been serving as senior marketing manager/subscriptions for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, joining that orchestra’s marketing staff in 2009.
