Canfield & Tack Inc. has expanded.
The commercial printer has opened a 46,000-square-foot fulfillment center on McLaughlin Road at Eastman Business Park.
Canfield & Tack, an employee-owned offset and digital printer, has added some 11 staffers in the last six months, including three at the new facility. The company, which employs more than 80 people, annually posts revenues of nearly $20 million.
The company ranked sixth on the most recent Rochester Business Journal list of commercial printers.
“We are a growing local company and we needed something larger, with room to expand,” Chairman Ray Brown said in a statement. “This growth in business, along with increased customer demand for collateral management and mailing services, drove the need for expanded and centralized fulfillment services.”
The company did not disclose financial details of the expansion. It received a sales tax exemption of $6,120 through County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency on the purchase of its new mailing equipment.
Last year Canfield & Tack—which was founded in 1926—acquired Syracuse-based Dellas Graphics Inc.
