Manning Squires Hennig Co. Inc. has been awarded an $11 million project to renovate two buildings on the SUNY College at Brockport campus.
The project involves the renovation of Neff Hall and Lathrop Hall to serve university police and the Department of Nursing, respectively. Batavia-based Manning Squires Hennig will serve as the prime general contractor for the renovation of both buildings.
Manning Squires Hennig and its subcontractors will conduct all project-related demolition and hazardous-materials removal, as well as all interior construction, exterior door/window installation and roof construction, the company said. It will also oversee the installation of new sidewalks and landscaping for both Neff and Lathrop halls, along with parking-lot improvements.
Renovations are expected to be completed in 2015.
“We’re proud to be a leader in education-related construction projects in Western New York, and the SUNY Brockport Neff Hall and Lathrop Hall renovations are perfect examples of how our focus on education-based projects is proving successful for our company—and for the colleges, universities and school districts that we partner with,” said Gary Squires, president of Manning Squires Hennig.
