Step Up to Leadership
"If you tell me what to do, I will do it to protect my job. But if you inspire me to do it, I will do it to the best of my ability."
Supervisors who understand this simple truth and know how to apply it are the ones who generate results in today's organizations. Great managers develop high-performance teams that get results because they know how to lead a team, not just manage it.
Who Should Attend
Business professionals in every function and organizational leaders. Any supervisor or manager who wants to increase productivity, lift morale, and improve quality. (New supervisors and managers will start off on the right foot, while veterans will learn to make the difficult but necessary transition from managing to exercising effective leadership.)
After this seminar, you will be able to:
• Determine your leadership style and its impact on your team
• Flex your communication style
• Build rapport and strengthen relationships
• Delegate responsibility, authority and accountability
• Bring out the leadership potential in others
• Give difficult feedback without creating resentment
• Disagree agreeably
• Resolve conflicts quickly before they affect the whole group

Feedback From February's RBJ Presents: Dale Carnegie Leadership Training Seminar
Melisza was a terrific presenter. She was able to motivate and instill an "eager want" for me to improve my own leadership style. I feel the tools she presented will be helpful when implemented.
I have attended leadership seminars presented by others. This was by far the best one that I have attended.
I thought the time was perfect - allowed for everyone to participate and get back to work at a reasonable hour.
I thought the interaction with the other participants was great. It wasn't just sitting at a table and listening but doing. Great Job!!!
Melisza is awesome. So much energy and is always positive. She makes it fun and interactive and really makes the whole experience enjoyable.
She was wonderful and energetic. Gave us some good things to think about, and tools that could be impactful.
I look forward to checking out the additional Dale Carnegie offerings and hope that they will be a good fit for my employer to pay for, but I would pay for it myself also.

We use Dale Carnegie to help develop our emerging leaders at Dixon Schwabl. Our integrated agency is filled with all sorts of talented people with all sorts of different marketing expertise. Yet why each is a star in their field, few if any of us are natural born leaders and communicators. That’s where Dale Carnegie comes in. The training our people receive helps them become more confident in sharing their ideas and leading teams to exceed expectations. As we like to say around here, Dale Carnegie helps us ‘make it happen!’
- Lauren Dixon, CEO, Dixon Schwabl
Dale Carnegie has partnered with RIT over the past four years by offering leadership development workshops to students. The impact on the students has truly been transformational. By their own admission, students have enthusiastically endorsed Dale Carnegie training and credited their workshop offerings for increasing their confidence, their interpersonal communication skills, and their ability to present effectively in front of others. Most importantly, our students view Dale Carnegie as their preparatory “icing on the cake” exposure, equipping them with the tools to be successful in the global marketplace. Dale Carnegie workshops are must haves for any professional or aspiring professional (student). Don’t delay, sign up today!

Dale Carnegie has played a very important part of my personal business and life success as well as our Company’s success here at O’Connell Electric. I participated in the course some 25 years ago on the advice of one of our officers and mentor. I can’t thank her enough. This past year we utilized the Dale Carnegie team with a customized program for over 100 of our employees from 4 our offices and we could not have been more pleased. The results have exceeded our expectations and the dividends far exceeded the cost in time and money.
- Victor Salerno, CEO, O’Connell Electric Company, Inc.
Dale Carnegie has been a great partner of Five Star Bank. I have seen an immediate return on our investment. I have recently had two team mates attend their Effective Communications Class. In eight short weeks, both improved their confidence and customer service skills.
